Pavilion Restaurant
About This Spot
Walking into Pavilion Restaurant feels like stepping into a well-loved neighborhood retreat—a place where the hum of conversations blends effortlessly with the clinking of cutlery and the gentle aroma of spices in the air. Nestled in Khar West, this modest spot carries an inviting warmth that doesn't shout for attention but quietly welcomes you to unwind and savor familiar flavors at a thoughtful pace.
The atmosphere here is comfortably bustling, reflective of its loyal crowd who come for both the food and the steady reliability the kitchen offers. It’s an ideal setting for catching up with friends after a long day or settling in for a meal that’s anything but rushed. The service complements this vibe with a friendly attentiveness that feels genuine, ensuring that each visit feels like returning to a shared secret rather than just another dinner out.
The menu echoes Pavilion’s balance of tradition and straightforward satisfaction—the kind of Indian and fast-food fare that feels like a trusted companion. Imagine savoring the gentle richness of a tandoori chicken that’s tender and thoughtfully spiced, or sharing a lively bite of paneer pakoda that carries a nostalgic comfort. Accompanying these, a fresh lime soda cuts through the spices with a clean brightness, offering a moment of refreshment amidst the warmth.
Regulars appreciate how generous portions meet reasonable prices without compromising on flavor, a value that makes this spot a steadily popular choice, especially on busy weekend evenings when the place easily fills up. The menu’s range—from juicy kebabs to homey dhaba-style dishes—lends itself well to mixing and sharing, inviting diners to create a meal that resonates with familiar, soulful tastes.
Ultimately, Pavilion Restaurant is less about showmanship and more about the joy found in dependable, well-crafted food in a warmly familiar space. Its quiet pulse invites you to linger, to enjoy food that comforts rather than overwhelms, and to join a community of patrons who value quality and kindness in equal measure.

Over the many many years I've eaten here or ordered home , the food has been consistently Excellent . Be it the Thai curries , or the tandoori fare , their biryani both mutton or chicken , the sindhi mutton and even the Chinese food . It's always reliable and very vfm fare . The service is prompt and helpings are generous. All in all Excellent service.

We were a party of 3 for dinner on a Thursday night . We arrived at 7.30pm and by 8.00pm the place was full . For starters we ordered paneer tikka , chicken tikka , koliwada prawns and afghani kebab all of which were good except that the Afghani kebab seemed a bit bland . We had the veg & chicken hot n sour soup both of which were really good . For mains we ordered the mini garlic nan and butter kulcha - both very good . The mutton seekh kebab was a bit on the dry side . The kesar pista kulfi and chocolate brownie with ice cream were both good .

We are members of this Khar Gym Khana Restaurant so naturally biased ! Still, this is far far more valuable than the low prices we pay for such excellent food ! Best for non vegetarians, but superb Baingan Bharta and Kadhi-pakoda.

A nice place to meet friends ! Easy on the pocket hence forever crowded! Did not like the soups much but their starters are great! The kebab platter and the Peanut Chaat are worth trying Also recommended is the chicken saagwala
